Topics to be discussed during the Conference:
■ Intrinsic properties of allergens, including processing, matrix, physical/chemical, digestion, bioinformatics, protein purifications and analysis
■ In vitro and in vivo methods to unravel mechanisms of (food) allergy and activation of innate and adaptive immune system
■ Allergenicity risk assessment, including current status, examples and applications (novel food dossiers) and visions

Invited speakers
■ Maria Rescigno (European Institute of Oncology) – “Host-microbe interactions in the gut”
■ Jonathan Hourihane (University College Cork) – “If zero risk is impossible, what risk is ‘acceptable’? An allergist’s view”
■ Lotte Neergaard Jacobsen (Arla Foods Ingredients) – “EFSA regulation on hydrolysates – consequences for the industry”
■ Michael Perkin (St Thomas’ Hospital London) – “Have EAT & LEAP left us any clearer as to how we should introduce allergenic foods to infants in real life?”

A maximum of 90 registrants is allowed.

■ Non-ImPARAS members: € 390

■ September 11th: Deadline for Abstract Submission
■ September 10th: Selection/acceptance abstracts and information to the authors
■ September 25th: Deadline for registration
■ October 3rd: Publication of final program

Abstract submission:
Abstracts for oral and poster presentations can be submitted via this online application form. Format: background, method, results, conclusion, max 2000 characters (including spaces).

20 abstracts will be selected for oral presentations. Young scientist can participate in the poster contest (format: 148x115cm, portrait. This will fit A0 = 84.1 × 118.9 cm). If you like to participate please specify this in the abstract application form.
